Register of licenses and certificates of organization issued to corporations, 1869-1892.

Record lists corporations issued licenses to open books for capital stock subscription; and certificates of organization. Each entry contains corporation purpose (e.g., mining, benevolent); corporate charter duration; capital stock valuation; organization statement filing and license issuance dates; and infrequent remarks on new charter issuance; capital stock increase, or corporation dissolution. Register entries (1881-1891) indicate if corporation is for-profit or not-for-profit and provide commissioner reports filing and certificates of organization issuance dates.
